This winter Deltaville Boatyard
is giving Pilgrim, a classic 45' Sparkman Stephens
ketch, a facelift. We are burning and scraping
her old anti-fouling paint off her bottom and
will apply two coats of new anti-fouling paint.
Next, her topsides will be prepped and painted.
The main and mizzen masts were unstepped for
inspection and service. She is receiving a new
Harken roller furler system, maintenance to the
standing rigging, and replacement of all running
rigging. And her spreader, steaming and mast
head lights have all been replaced or serviced.
Once Pilgrim's topsides are completed, we will
re-step and tuner her rig and she'll be ready to
splash. |
